Stanfort J. Perry
Stanfort received his Bachelors degree from the SUNY at StonyBrook and his Masters degree in Human Services Management from the SUC at Buffalo.
Stanfort has been the Executive Director of Arc of Onondaga since June 1999. Prior to joining Arc, Stanfort was the Executive Director of Hopevale, Inc. in Hamburg, New York. Hopevale provides comprehensive residential, family support, foster care, educational and clinical services to children and families throughout New York State.
A community-minded individual, Stanfort is an active member of the Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY) and the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Treasurer of Pres-Ex, which is comprised of Executive Directors from over 80 agencies in Central New York. Stanfort also is a member of the NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities’ Advisory Council.
Stanfort is the recipient of the Ebony and Ivory Award, the Black Achievers in Industry Award, Business First-Forty under Forty Award, the Rotary International GSE Award, and the E. P. Maxwell J. Schleifer Distinguished Service Award, to name a few.
A resident of Manlius, Stanfort is married to Daphne Perry and they are the proud parents of a daughter, Janna, and a son, Chandler.
