How do I find out if my child has developmental disabilities? 
Contact our Horizons Clinic, an article 16 clinic which can help with evaluations and help determine eligibility for services and Medicaid.

How do I obtain services for my child with developmental disabilities?
Contact our Parent Advocacy program to learn more about the options available to you through Arc, your school district, and other community resources.

How can I find out more about Arc of Onondaga?
You can request a packet of information about our services and programs, along with a video about our chapter by emailing our Office of Development & Public Relations at info@arcon.org.   Additionally, become a member of Arc so you can enjoy a subscription to our quarterly magazine, Patterns, and be kept up-to-date with the latest news and information.

Can I hire people with developmental disabilities at my company?
Absolutely.  Employment Options staff will work closely with an individual to find competitive employment in the community compatible with the individual's goals, desires, and abilities. In addition, Arc staff members provide on-going support needed for an individual to maintain their chosen employment.  This is through Monarch Enterprise’s Employment Options program.   To find out more, please call 315.437.2025, extension 131.


How is Arc of Onondaga related to NYSARC, Inc?
Arc of Onondaga is a chapter of NYSARC, Inc.   While NYSARC, Inc. is a single corporation, the autonomy of its 57 chapters throughout New York State is central to our basic mission of community inclusion.  NYSARC, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.
