Our Commitment to DEIA
At Arc of Onondaga, our mission is to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their fullest potential. Our organization is dedicated to embracing diversity, promoting equity, and cultivating an inclusive environment. To this end, Arc of Onondaga has created a Steering Committee to foster an environment where every employee feels valued, respected, and supported, leading to better care, opportunities, and outcomes for those we serve. Our commitment to DEIA enhances our ability to fulfill Arc of Onondaga’s mission and contributes to a more inclusive and equitable society for everyone.
We are sharing information and definitions in support of our efforts, and we’re starting with the “shoe diagram” that aims to define some of our goals for our organization.
